Making slow and stead progress as Christmas creeps closer. I’ve got three of 4.5 rows of chevrons pieced and sewn together. Of the remaining rows, two are sewn together and are just waiting to be sewn to the quilt top. The last row has its block sewn together, but the blocks aren’t sewn into a row, yet. It’s my plan to finish this quilt top tonight so that I can quilt it on Saturday.
That brings my #quiltsbyChristmas tally up to:
- 2 completed fleece quilts
- 1 completed baby quilt
- 1 completed quilt top
- 2 in-progress quilt tops
- 2 quilts waiting to have their fabric cut*
*the two that I haven’t even cut out yet are likely to be placed on hold. I’m making these for my Compassion International children, who I plan to meet next year, and I’m not 100% sure I’ve got enough fabric to make them as large as I would like. We’ll see, though. If I get ahead of schedule, I may very well crank these out later this week.
Do you have any projects to finish before Christmas?
Today I’m linking up at freshly pieced and showcasing a few of my “Works in Progress.” I’m also joining Elise over at Enjoy It and posting my quilting updates under #quiltsbychristmas on Twitter and Instagram.
