Project Life: Week 6

ProjectLifeWeek6SpreadProjectLifeWeek6Spread2This was not a terribly busy week to start out with, but it ended up being a really full weekend.

ProjectLifeWeek6Detail2On Thursday, I tried a yoga class for the first time, and loved it! I even painted my toes to give myself extra motivation to go.

ProjectLifeWeek6Detail5ProjectLifeWeek6Detail1I spend Friday in Little Rock attending a presentation for work. It was a long drive by myself, but overall, not a bad way to spend a workday.

ProjectLifeWeek6InsertOn Saturday, Dad & I took Mom to see “Snoopy the Musical” for Valentine’s Day (documented with an insert). It wasn’t my favorite production, but Mom loved it. So really, that’s all that matters.

ProjectLifeWeek6Detail4Finally, I wrapped it all up by making chocolate covered strawberries on Sunday. (Which had its own issues – complete with a post coming later)

ProjectLifeWeek6Detail3A few other highlights from the week:

  • I started a new book: Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking by Susan Cain (see her fantastic TED Talk here)
  • Dad & I woke up early Saturday to scope out a yard-sale that had a great ad in the paper. We were specifically looking for an old record player. Unfortunately by the time we got there (8am [and it only opened at 7am]) the place was picked over.
  • On the way to “Snoopy the Musical” we stopped at a new-to-us flea market. It was a cold morning, but the place was heated by this huge wood burning stove

Thanks! I’ve been really impressed with the quality of the wood veneers – I was really worried they’d be super fragile, but they’re holding up nicely. I highly recommend them 🙂

Love that insert. The big sheet of pp across the back with a simple stamp looks great. I need to remember how good white space looks here and there. That pedicure is great! Remember, yoga is all about the breath!
