Remember how last week I wrote about saying “no” in order to say yes? How I planned to stop vegging out and wasting my nights/mornings to laziness in order to make more time for experiences and writing?
Well, I’ve been doing just that. This past week, I’ve been focusing on getting things done, reaching goals, & making memories – both for me & my friends. I’ve completed projects that were taking up much needed mental space & I’m working on a few things that I’m excited to write about. Overall, I’ve been working on realigning my priorities to focus on my dreams.
What does that look like?
Well, I’ve been catching up on my letter writing & sending out some very special birthday cards.
I’ve met with Amber, one of my close friends that I haven’t seen in a while, and we’ve been sewing some pretty awesome Dr. Who Tea Towels (post to follow, I promise).
I’ve finally been able to get all of my photos from my trip to Europe in 2006 into an album (thank you project life!)
But, like I said, I’ve been trying to keep up with my goals for February, too. And that includes getting Dad’s quilt finished. 2 Rows completed yesterday, only 3 rows left! I can so do this by the end of the month … it is so time.
Finally, I’ve been burning candles and having quiet nights where I can just think (and try to get my thoughts into words on the screen) Also, Pineapple Orchid is my all time favorite Bath&BodyWorks Candle Scent – just so you know.
How about you? What have you been up to lately? Specifically, have you been able to do something that puts you one step closer to your own God-sized dream? Even if the step is super tiny, I’d love to hear about it 🙂
Each Tuesday, for the foreseeable future, I’m linking up with Holley and hundreds of other dreamers and blogging about my own God-sized Dream and the steps I’m taking to make it a reality. Click the button to read posts of other dreamers.
