Week 7: AKA Valentine’s Day week. To document the holiday I used an insert (a design A pocket protector cut in half).
The front side of the insert shows what Dad got me for Valentine’s Day, and the back shows my gifts from Mom. To help make the insert more visible, I used 2 smash tiny arrows on the side.I also sent out Valentine’s Day cards to the kids in my Awana handbook group. I really loved the elephant design 🙂
The bottom left 4×6 slot has a filler card and some heart confetti. I sewed the top of the slot shut to keep the confetti from scattering everywhere.
I took my 2nd Yoga class & started using my local library again this week. Love them both.
Finally, I got some #happymail from my 2 Compassion Sponsored girls. You can read more about the letters I got from them this week here.
A few other highlights from the week:
- Jessica got new glasses and was excited to show me via text
- The first Easter flowers started blooming
- I got several new pairs of flats for work (so I don’t trip in the street again). The shoes were a big ordeal – I ordered 6 pair and not one fit great. I ended up taking 2 pair back and exchanging them and kept the other 4. Apparently I’ve got an odd foot size because a 7.5 was too small and an 8 was a bit big. I stuck with the 8s though – better a tad big than too small.
