This week was an interesting and busy week. I started taking Spanish classes to prepare for my trip to Ecuador in the fall – and ended up jumping from Spanish 1 to Spanish 2 because I remembered more of those high school lessons than I thought I did.
On Thursday I ended up taking Dad to the ER for a suspected spider bite. We waited for about an hour to get a prescription for some antibiotics – the meds took care of it though, so it could have been much worse.
A few other highlights from the week:
- The tulips were in full bloom at Walmart – and tulips are my fave.
- Mom, Dad, & I made a trip to MO to drop off a mantle clock to be repaired. Along the way we stopped at Stake ‘n Shake and had the BEST fries & shakes.
- I got two fantastic letters from my Compassion International Sponsored kids.
