Project Life: Week 21

This week was a slow week and that was so needed. Nothing major at work, nothing major at home; just peace before the storm.

This is the weekend Dad and I trekked to Hot Springs to scout flea markets and enjoy the extra day off. I used a Design J insert to document the trip with instagrammed photos and seafoam journaling cards.

We also had some amazing lilies bloom this week and they are taking over where the irises left off.PLW21Quilt

I started on quilt #3 – another disappearing 9 patch, currently loving this patter and how quickly it comes together.PLW21Mail

This was also an amazing for mail from my Compassion Sponsored children: 2 letters, 3 drawings, some origami instructions, and poems. PLW21Juice

A few other highlights from the week:

  • Dad and I tried juicing – used a recipe that came with my new juicer and definitely not a huge fan: too much celery. Otherwise, not bad.
  • Honeysuckles are in bloom and they’re my fave.
  • We started putting up a fence – lots of work but worth it as a preventative measure.

Supplies Used: All photos taken with iPhone 4s & printed at Walgreens and Walmart; Seafoam Core KitMonthly DividersLarge Paper Binder; Digital Seafoam Papers printed at Office Max; Amy Tangerine date stamp; kraft stickers, blue washi, and various flag stickers from Target; For the Love of stamp from Elise Cripe’s Stamp Shop (currently closed); hey girl stamp from merltilton; label stamp from whitneyraepaper; star stickers from Studio CalicoDesign A Page ProtectorsDesign J Page Protector; 3×4 Grid Journaling CardsFiskars Corner RounderZig Millenium Pen; staz-on ink; Stampabilities ink; & American Crafts slick writer.

***I get a lot of questions about the mini photo collages I use in my spreads. To make them, I use the frametastic iPhone app set to the postcard size. I take & process 100% of my photos using just my phone; and most of the time, I print straight from my phone to Walgreens via the Printicular app.
