I’ve also got two inserts this week – on for each quilt I completed.
Both completed quilts are gifts for my sponsored children in Ecuador, and I’ll be taking the quilts to them this September. I was really starting to feel the time crunch for preparing for such a big trip, so I made it a goal to get both of these beauties finished before July.
I love how they both turned out so different, but still related. I can’t wait to give them to my kids 🙂
A few other highlights from the week:
- I finally got back to yoga and LOVED it. I seriously missed these weekly sessions & am thrilled beyond belief to be back at the studio
- I love the peek-a-boo rainbows you find after quick summer showers
- The local library is my favorite. So many books, so little time. (Also Dad and I are looking to plant a few fruit trees in our yard. Any and all tips are welcome)
- Ghibli movie nights are so fun
