And we’re back to playing catch-up with these Spreads. I know I’ve been a bit MIA lately, sorry about that. I do actually have most of my Project Life Spreads up-to-date (with the exception of printing the latest photos from August), but I’ve been awful about getting them posted here.
I’m noticing a trend toward either mostly orange spreads, or mostly blue. I usually let the photos dictate the color pallet, but on weeks like this one where there aren’t many photos, it’s fun to really play up the theme.
If you’re counting, you’ll notice the entire spread was completed with only four photos; and you know what, I kind of love it. Not in a “let’s throw out all the photos” kind of way, but in a “hey we didn’t take many photos this week, but we can still document what happened and you won’t miss the photos” kind of way. If that makes sense.
I was also a contributor to the Find Your Voice online workshop by rukristen (which, by the way, is open for free until midnight tonight – so if you haven’t checked it out yet, go now!)
Finally, I love how the crazy week banner card turned out. I used a stamp from a past Studio Calico kit and added the saying to it. Truly, it totally sums up the week.
A few other highlights from the week:
- Dad & I checked out a new-to-us, local flea market and found some cool, but overpriced pieces
- I harvested a giant cucumber from the garden
- I caught up on writing letters to my Compassion Kids while at the hotel between training days for work
