Project Life: Week 31

Week 31 and I love the flexibility of this project. ProjectLifeWeek31Left

This week, getting the goals in the binder proved to be more important that creating a pretty graphic overlay on the photo. Yep, the white ink on the photo works just as well – and honestly, I kept telling myself I’ll reprint it when I make the graphic for the blog (which is what I normally do) but, as you can see, these goals never made it to the blog. Oops. For the record, I did pretty well with them in August and it’s not very likely that I’ll go back and “correct” this insert. ProjectLifeWeek31Right PLWk31Book

You guys, this book. This book right here. Read it – or listen to it. The recording is great. It reminded me a lot of this book, which I also adore. Also, audio books are rocking my drive to work and back lately. I finished this one in just over 6 days. PLWk31Shower

What happens when you go to a shower, take a photo with the mom-to-be, but don’t get a photo taken with your phone/camera? You insert a little drawing as a place holder until you can track down the original photo. Also, you stalk facebook and hope that said photo appears in a “Baby Shower” album…. no luck yet, folks. No luck yet.PLWk31Sheet

A few other highlights from the week:

  • Found a great Vintage Snoopy Sheet for sale on instagram & bought it for my Mom’s classroom
  • Volunteer Sunflowers are great – actually, most volunteer flowers/vegetables/fruit is great.
  • First attempt at homemade pickles was a success. At least to me. Dad thought they had too much dill. How can you have too much dill in dill pickles?
