Project Life: Week 37

ProjectLifeWeek37FullThis week was in danger of becoming a 2-photo week… until I realized how few pictures I had and made an effort to take several on Saturday (see all the cat photos? Yep, those would be fillers. Good fillers, but fillers nonetheless.).

ProjectLifeWeek37LeftRepeating the theme from the past few weeks, I mixed black and white cards from the Seafoam and Midnight editions and added pops of orange for an accent. I love, love, love how these two kits blend so effortlessly.

Knowing I’d be leaving for Ecuador in a couple of weeks, I spent a lot of time sewing quilts to catch up on my 26quilts project before I left. I was afraid that I would not want to sew when I returned, so I tried to stockpile quilt tops. The one featured here is honestly one of my favorites so far – but hasn’t been quilted yet. I’m hoping to get it finished in the next couple of weeks and be able to share it with you all.

A few other highlights from the week:

  • This week I incorporated some great swap cards by @amandafay from the instragram card swap I organized back in May. I love the patchwork look she created for these cards!
  • I can often find Jager and Shinobi snoozing on Dad’s bed on the weekend.
  • I had to work late a couple of nights this week (and by late I’m mean late. Like got home after 10pm late.) Which, thankfully, is rare but tiring.
