Project Life: Weeks 39-40

And we’ve made it to the weeks I went to Ecuador. Because I knew going in that I would be completing an entire Project Life album just for my trip, I wanted these spreads to be decidedly understated.ProjectLifeWk39&40_01

For week 39, I inserted a quick note about the trip, a final “to-do” list, and a 12×18 photo from my first full day in Ecuador.ProjectLifeWk39&40_02 ProjectLifeWk39&40_03 ProjectLifeWk39&40_04 ProjectLifeWk39&40_05I’ve been hoarding that “Let’s Do This” Card since I got it in the mail several SC Kits ago. It was perfect for this page – exactly what I wanted to convey without adding any extra distractions.

ProjectLifeWk39&40_06For Week 40, I used a 12×12 group photo of me, my sponsored kids, and their respective family members & teachers on the left side, and stuck with a few more hoarded cards on the right.  ProjectLifeWk39&40_07I also added just a tiny bit of journaling and updates on the right, just to capture the bare minimum of what I wanted to remember the week I returned.

ProjectLifeWk39&40_08 ProjectLifeWk39&40_09I love using this Studio Calico weekly calendar card as a reminder of what I was doing on each day.

ProjectLifeWk39&40_10A few other highlights from the week:

  • I went to talk to my mom’s class about my trip (they’d been following my adventure through a shared photo stream). When I got home, I realized that I didn’t take my house key with me. I was locked out for about an hour.
  • Jager had to have a pre-trip visit to the vet to get an allergy shot – fun times.
