Project Life 2014: Beginning Again

It’s 2014, and I still love this project! In fact, I’m super excited to begin documenting another year. Project Life is such a fantastic, and easy, way to document the everyday memories that I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to document anything.

This year, I plan on using the following supplies regularly:

I will also still take & process 100% of my everyday photos using just my phone; and most of the time, I plant to print straight from my phone to Walgreens via the Printicular app.

As you can see in my cover page above, we’re going for simple this year. In addition to the Midnight Core Kit pages, I added in a card from the Blush Kit, a corner of a card from the Seafoam kit (this is what life looks like), and a 2×2 photo of myself and Jäger. On the pieced journaling card I added a few notes about the start of the year: where I live, where I work, what I drive, ect.

Honestly, I hadn’t planned on using the Midnight Edition this year. From the moment I saw the Kraft kit, I fell in love with it & fully expected to use it. Then I laid out the cover page.

ProjectLIfe2014Cover2 And while I still love it, it didn’t feel like me all-year-round. It felt like a travel kit, something that would be awesome to document a vacation. So, I took a step back and decided to go with the Midnight Kit. And so far – I’m loving the decision.

Are you documenting 2014 in any way? Do you use Project Life? I’d love to see how you document your day-to-day. Feel free to link up in the comments!

I had planned on using Midnight, but my cousin bought me Kraft for Christmas. It’ll work, but def don’t like the opening page and mixing it up for sure. If I do it next year, I’m going kitless!?!?!

Oh! Kitless, how fun! I usually mix in a ton of cards and end up using less than half of the 3×4 cards in a core kit. (I try to stick to using the title cards from the kit each week, though). I hope you continue it next year, I’d love to see what you come up with!
