Project Life 2014: Week 2

ProjectLifeWeek2_1 Week of: January 6-12, 2014

ProjectLifeWeek2_2What happened this week: I finally got back to my yoga class and realized that it had been too long – I love this class & how relaxed it makes me. Dad and I got pedicures in preparation for his upcoming surgery. Shinobi found a new place to cat nap. ProjectLifeWeek2_3Anything special in the spread: I  tried out a new Studio Calico stamp as a filler card. The “this makes me ____” stamp worked out perfectly; and now that I look at it, I used several stamps this week as card embellishments.ProjectLifeWeek2_5Techniques this week: Lots of stamping on filler and journaling cards. I’ve also gotten into the habit of trimming a journaling card and slipping the photo under the sentiment (see the weather photo/card for an example).

Overall thoughts: Still loving this project & now I’m loving how I share it, too. This was a “calm before the storm” kind of week and I’m glad I got it in the book.
